New Delhi, May 15, 2016: Connaught Place in New Delhi is synonymous to a Park Street in Kolkata; where the young and old relish the city’s charm in food and revelry.
CP (as it’s popularly referred) is housed with a lot of national and international food, fashion and lifestyle brands for everyone to savour the experience.
End of May 2016 however, will witness the establishment of The Colonnade that promises visitors an experience like none other.
Promoted by the Akoi group, who own the luxurious The Imperial hotel, Collonade is modelled on the same lines as the DLF Cyberhub. While the latter is specifically a food destination, the former poses to be the capital’s first dining and fashion zone respectively.
The property is divided in two trenches – Dining and Fashion.
The participating restaurant brands in the dining section has 14 brands and includes names such as Jamie’s Pizzeria by Jamie Oliver, Cafe Delhi Heights, Mamagoto, Beer Cafe top, Costa Coffee (that’s already opened with a 50 percent off Happy Hours), Burger King, Krispy Kreme, Wow Momo, The Permit Room, Fat Lulu’s, Pita Pit, among others.
The second phase will see high-end fashion retail brands come on board including Zara, Forever New and Gap.
In a recent interview with The Economic Times, Manav Deep Singh, director at the Colonnade was quoted saying, “We’re confident of footfalls as we’re choosing the brands carefully. These are all premium brands which naturally generate consumption pull,”.
The Colonnade is located in B block of the bustling Connaught Place and the dining section is already garnering immense popularity with it’s hashtag #FoodMeetsHeritage.
