Not really a recipe person but this is something I had to share with all of you. Everyone wants lip smacking food but not every lip smacking food is necessarily good for health. If you’re someone like me who believes in soul food without compromising on taste, do give this a go:

Marinate Chicken or Boiled Soya chunks in ginger garlic paste, Salt, lemon juice and vinegar for about 15 minutes. Lightly saute in a frying pan and keep it aside.

Next, take a pressure cooker and very little cooking oil and saute a piece of ginger, cloves and diced red onions. Once the onions are pinkish, Put some 8 chopped tomatoes, and diced green chillies and stir.

Add in vegetables like Round gourd, Broccoli, Carrots, Potatoes,  Capsicum, French Beans and stir again. Add water in a broth like consistency, with the cooked chicken / soya chunks along with salt and pepper.

Pressure cook it for about 4 cooker whistles and voilà ! Your stew is ready. If you’re allowed carbs then this goes well with hot steamed rice!

Lemme know how this goes when you give it a try 🙂
